SE GEORGIA AVE. AND MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. BLVD.

STUART, Fla (May 25, 2023) – Underground Construction Management, Inc., under the supervision of the City of Stuart Utility and Engineering Department, will be installing new utility infrastructure along SE George Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. This will result in temporary lane and sidewalk closures along the south end of SE Georgia Avenue and on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard heading east from Georgia Avenue beginning Tuesday, May 30 through Friday, June 2, June 9, 2023, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

For the safety of the public and to reduce hazardous conditions for residents, pedestrians and motorists, intermittent lane shifts and sidewalk closures with detours and traffic control signage will be in place. 

If you travel in this area, please expect delays. Weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances could impact the construction schedule.
