ROAD CLOSURE
Kanner Highway at US 1 Full Closure – June 9-12, 2023
STUART, Fla (May 11, 2023) – FDOT has announced the full closure of Kanner Highway at U.S. 1 June 9-12, 2023, around-the-clock beginning at 8 p.m. on Friday, June 9, through approximately 6:30 a.m. Monday, June 12, for watermain and roadway work.
Detour Information
- Southbound SR5/U.S. 1 traffic will be detoured via SR 714/Monterey Road to SR 76/Kanner Highway
- Northbound SR5/U.S. 1 traffic will be detoured via SR 7114/Monterey Road to SR 76/Kanner Highway
PLEASE NOTE: Friday, June 16 through Monday, June 19 will be used as contingency dates of needed.
In addition to the watermain work, project improvements include milling and resurfacing the existing roadway, upgrades to crosswalks and curb ramps, signage and pavement markings, and upgraded pedestrian lighting.
