The City of Stuart is a leader among local governments to improve the health of the St. Lucie River and Indian River Lagoon. You can help by becoming involved with environmental issues.

  • Watch For Commission Meeting Agendas in which you are interested and attend the meetings.
  • Your Florida Yard provides education programs that teach "how to" techniques to improve the appearance and quality of our environment.
  • To Report Illegal Dumping or stormwater pollution, call the Stormwater Hotline available 24 hours a day at 772-600-1260.
  • Recycle Household Hazardous Waste. In conjunction with Martin County, the City of Stuart Fire Rescue Station 1, 800 SE Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard, will accept certain household waste items on the 2nd Wednesday of each month 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
