Law Enforcement Exploring badge

The Stuart Police Department's Law Enforcement Explorer post offers young men and women who are interested in the field of law enforcement with quality learning and lots of fun-filled, hands-on activities that promote members' personal growth and development. Even if you are not interested in the field of law enforcement, our program can teach you the leadership and life skills necessary to succeed in any field.

The Stuart Police Department Explorer Post 878 is currently recruiting students to join our post. The police department has a long tradition of promoting excellence in our area's youth. We are currently training for local, state, and national competitions.

Stuart Police badgeExploring is a worksite-based program for young men and women who have completed the eighth grade and are 14 years of age, or are 15 years of age but have not yet reached their 21st birthday.

Explorers & Learning for Life

The Stuart Police Explorers are registered with the Learning for Life organization. Learning for Life provides programs that are designed to support schools and other youth-serving organizations in their efforts toward preparing youth to successfully handle the complexities of today's society and to enhance their self-confidence, motivation, and self-worth.
