Board of Adjustment (BOA) - May authorize special exceptions and variances as provided in the zoning code. The board consists of five members who have been residents or property owners of the City of Stuart for not less than six months prior to appointment. This board meets on the fourth Thursday of every month at 5:30pm.

Community Redevelopment Board (CRB) - Reviews applications for Major Development within the Urban District, Historic Building development applications and Urban Code Exceptions. The board consists of seven members and meet on the first Tuesday of every month at 4:00pm, as needed.  

Local Planning Agency (LPA) - Makes recommendations to the City Commission regarding proposed amendments, land use in the City and proposed developments. The Board consists of seven members and meet on the third Thursday of every month at 5:30pm.

Stuart Independent Review Board (SIRB) - The Stuart Independent Review Board meets on an as needed basis, consisting of seven members for the purpose of providing independent public review of the conduct of employees of the City.
