Welcome you to our newly organized Community Services Department (traditionally known as the Parks & Recreation Department).
Our department is now focused on providing community support services and traditional program functions carefully balanced within five (5) department initiatives:
- Parks and Recreation Programs and Services
- Special Event Permitting , Logistics, Public Relations and Marketing
- City Emergency Services and Support (EOC)
- Capital Project Management, Public Facility Development & Grant Administration
- Downtown Management and CRA Support
These initiatives allow the Community Services Department to continue to support our existing partnerships with the City of Stuart's Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), Stuart and East Stuart Main Street Programs, Downtown Business Association (DBA), The Arts Council of Martin County , Convention Visitors Bureau (CVB) and the Treasure Coast Sport Commission (TCSC). In reorganization allows us the flexibility to expand services the community in additional capacities as well as maintaining existing services.
