Two Main Streets

One Community

Stuart's two historic business districts are represented by two Main Street programs.  One of Florida's oldest Main Street communities, downtown Stuart ranges along the city's waterfront, pairing quaint shops and restaurants with a unique waterfront boardwalk.  Just to the south of the historic downtown, Florida's newest Main Street community, East Stuart, boasts a unique blend of African American and Afro-Caribbean cultures.  These two neighbors maintain their unique identities while working together to create a brighter future for all of Stuart.
